I realised that there was never a formal announcement here to read up:
The Catara NWN server is offline for quite some time now, due to time constraints. I might revive it someday, but it is pretty unlikely. If anyone wants to use our custom classes or tools, ping me on twitter (@jollyorc) and we can see what we can do for you!

creating new NPCs and monsters

I'm having some issues with monster and NPC creation in the toolset...
I created a lvl22 human sorcerer who is supposed to be a boss character in the areas I'm currently building. However, when I placed him in the module and did some play testing all he does is cast 2-3 defensive spells and just stands there until being pummeled to death...even though he has an assortment of offensive spells at his disposal.
Any ideas why this happens?
Though it was a looong time ago, I dont recall having to do anything special in npc creation when I created the goblin boss in the greenbear cave...and that one fires off all sorts of nasty spells without breaking a sweat :)
I dont have much experience with npc creation, so I'll probably have some more questions soon... -
