I realised that there was never a formal announcement here to read up:
The Catara NWN server is offline for quite some time now, due to time constraints. I might revive it someday, but it is pretty unlikely. If anyone wants to use our custom classes or tools, ping me on twitter (@jollyorc) and we can see what we can do for you!

So, the new server is all but complete. (Just missing recent copies of servervault, db and firewall rules) It's a Windows 7 Virtual Machine, hosted on the companies dual ESX cluster. We will never ever need to worry about hardware or internet connection failures here, it's inside a corporate data center for as long as the meagre ressources the server uses aren't needed by more important company stuff.
(Hopefully, that'll mean: "Never")
On the other hand, we should try to get some nice script-based maintenance tools for servervault & database backups, restarting the module and maybe even the whole server, such things.
I'll enable password-protected https-and SecureFTP Access, so if someone of you likes to write php scripts that we can use to trigger such actions, that'd be perfect!
