I realised that there was never a formal announcement here to read up:
The Catara NWN server is offline for quite some time now, due to time constraints. I might revive it someday, but it is pretty unlikely. If anyone wants to use our custom classes or tools, ping me on twitter (@jollyorc) and we can see what we can do for you!

Cave Beetle Barbs: on hit.. fails to do anything other than normal damage.
Also, the quest giver claims he will give a ~few~ of these arrows.. he gives out only one.
Quest fails to reward any xp. -
just tested the arrows, worked just fine - I wonder if this was a glitch.. The quest giver isn't giving 10 arrows? hmm.. gotta fix that and check if I planned to give Xp there (not all deliveries will always give those)

Hehe.. and ouch.. how much did that one arrow cost to get in terms of healing supplies?
This is by far the hardest quest to complete so far, & i think the only one that neither of my PCs can solo. Just thought that might be relevant in terms of any gp/xp reward ;-) -
I tweaked things a bit - but what makes you think that these arrows are the actual quest? :)
Also: In terms of design directives, the fact that this is the only quest that none of your PCs can solo doesn't mean that I should tone this down, but that the others are too easy. -
Oh heh, no am not meaning you should tone this down! What is easy/hard depends very much on a PC's level. To some extent gear/equipment can make a difference, but class & abilities make for more difference than gear on Catara. The biggest factor in making "hard" areas/quests possible is going there in a party.
Just as there should be some easy quests so low-lvl PCs can progress, so there should be some much harder ones! Of course i have no idea if there is more to this quest, but from my IC point of view it looked like we were killing X to get Y to make it easier to kill X..
Perhaps we should start a quest feed-back thread in the Builders Category, so we can point out any we think are too easy?
